GMNET SCHOLARSHIPS
GMNet Scholarship Information
1. Name:
The 2025 GMNet scholarship is named the “Community Development Extension Assistant Scholarship” (CDEAS).
2. Rationale:
The purpose of the CDEAS is to support students pursuing studies in fields related to community development, rural extension services, or similar disciplines. The GMNet provides these scholarships to foster community welfare, rural development and social change. Ultimately, GMNet supports holistic Christian community development missions that meet the whole person's spiritual, mental, physical, and social needs.
3. Eligibility Criteria:

CUNOR students pursuing undergraduate or graduate programs in community development, social work, rural development or similar fields.

Applicants may need to commit to working in rural areas or underprivileged communities.

Some programs require students to show leadership potential and/or involvement in community service activities.
4. Application:
-
Completion of the GMNet application forms with personal details, academic records, and an essay or statement of purpose; and
-
Recommendation letters from professors or community leaders, if required by certain programs.

5. Requirements:
-
A commitment to attend the Sunday worship, especially the discipleship program under Pastor Vicky;
-
A commitment to support the Nuevo Aquil community development ministry program supervised by pastor Vicky and Professor Dulce; and
-
A commitment to improve English conversation by attending Dr. Limm’s biweekly English conversation class.
6. Scholarship recipient shall fulfill the following three duties:

Visit Nuevo Aquil village once a month to report the progress as well as any significant concerns (“monitoring and evaluation”);

Attend Pastor Vicky's discipleship’s program; and
-
Attend to Dr. Limm’s English conversation class (every two weeks).
